Born in Crete, raised in the North West of England, I’ve not stopped eating and despite moments of shameful greed, I remain under 300kg.  Yes, it has to be said that I enjoy food more than is perhaps good for me.  Telling people that I was ”a growing lad” was okay for a while.  I’m an adult.  I’m 5’6.  The “growing” has well and truly stopped.

I come from a family who value good food over most things except each other.  Thankfully, my wife (N), son (The Tomato Monster) and dog (Coco), love food almost as much as me.  Food remains a hobby that enriches me in lots of ways.

I don’t know what will come of my passion for all things food.  At the very least, a lifetime of shared experiences, tasty meals and a well-fed family.
