Let’s eat!

Cooking and eating are a large part of my life, but if you can’t share what you love, the experience is very limited.  That’s why I am happiest when other people are enjoying my food.  Since I can’t have the world over for dinner, I figured I’d share recipes and ideas that put a smile on my face.  That way, you can cook, eat and share food with more people than I can shake a frying pan at.  So spread the word and the food!

  1. You should! Thanks for mentioning me in your peanut butter post 😀 I feel so honored! i was going to comment on that post but it said comments were closed? Anyway, the pictures look beautiful (and delicious).

  2. I love this blog! It is MUCH better than mine was when I first started it–I like your writing style and humor. Keep it up! And that carrot cake looks like my new best friend 🙂 yum!

  3. Hi Dimitri, Your blog is fantastic, I’m so impressed (and slightly put to shame) with all of your energy and enthusiasm, it’s brilliant! Can’t wait to get making some of of your recipes, especially that pulled pork, it sounds yum. Thanks!

  4. I’m really enjoying cooking and writing, but it’s amazing to get positive feedback too! I guess bloggers just want to know that someone cares about what they write. Got to say that I’m currently craving a big slice of chocolate cake and spotted your Eastern inspired recipe- I’ve got all the ingredients in the cupboard, so I’ll let you know how it turns out! Thanks so much for your encouragement!

  5. Sir, after a lifetime of empty promises I finally made it. Straight off I have to say the the sight of your Matzo Brei recipe has me kvelling, I intend to make use of it very soon. On another point, are you familiar with this site; http://thedailybacon.com ? I realise I’m going to get thrown off the committee at PETA for even mentioning them to you, but there’s just something so admirable about these guys’ committment to…well, bacon. (I mean, Tic-Tac-Bacon?! Genius!). Anywho, keep the ideas coming my man and I’ll look to keep massacring them in my own special way.

    Tchuss

  6. So glad you could make it! I’d avoid the Matzo Brei if I were you. It was a cultural experiment that left me wanting my scrambled eggs on toast. I still love the crackers though! Spotted The Daily Bacon. Boy, I thought I was passionate about bacon, but these guys are something else! Watch this space; it’s my ultimate rib recipe tomorrow. I’m gonna let all my secrets out of the bag!

    Stay in touch, sir!

  7. Thanks for your kind words and thanks for visiting! 🙂 May there be many more sweet and cheerful moments to come!

  8. Your samphire cream sauce is becoming one of my favourite recipes. I swap the lemon for lime. Its good over grilled chicken. Love your site.

  9. Hi, Dimitri. I was working on a new blog look today and I saw your link (’cause you’re on my blogroll) and thought “I should have a look again to see if he shared a recipe” but still nothing. Sometimes notifications don’t work. Anyway I hope you’re doing great, enjoying life and cooking a lot! and having no time for that blogging life! 😉 Miss your recipes.

  10. Dimitri! your site is great cant wait to start trying some of these recipes! They all look delicious, keep up the good work i will be sure to keep checking back for more!
