Born in Crete, raised in the North West of England, I’ve not stopped eating and despite moments of shameful greed, I remain under 300kg. Yes, it has to be said that I enjoy food more than is perhaps good for me. Telling people that I was “a growing lad” was okay for a while. I’m an adult. I’m 5’6. The “growing” has well and truly stopped.
I come from a family who value good food over most things except each other. Thankfully, my wife (N) and children love food almost as much. Food remains a hobby that enriches me in lots of ways.
I don’t know what will come of my passion for all things food. At the very least, a lifetime of shared experiences, tasty meals and a well-fed family.
